项目
2007年先锋公司决定矿产项目多样化，其结果是成功地获得了许多高级勘查阶段的金矿和锰矿的项目，从而补充了传统的镍矿项目。
公司“投资或出让”的积极方针让公司着重于其核心项目，而将不符合勘查公司标准的项目出让。
高级阶段项目
利格纳姆坝金矿项目
利格纳姆坝金矿项目位于卡尔古里镇北东55公里处的银天鹅西北矿权地内。 先锋公司在该矿权地进行金矿、镍矿和贱金属的勘查工作。该项目位于帕丁顿金矿选厂北东向21公里处以及卡瑙纳贝奥金矿选厂北北西向31公里处。
近期回旋式空气喷射钻探的结果：
- SSB0412孔位： 29米厚、金品位在2.02 g/t，其中包括4米厚、金品位在 6.62g/t
- SSB0413孔位： 8米厚、 金品位在2.52 g/t
- SSB0400孔位： 4米厚、金品位在3.64 g/t
- SSB0415孔位：4米厚、金品位在1.29g/t
- SSB0533孔位：5米厚、金品位在1.10g/t
- SSB0592孔位：16米厚、金品位在0.72g/t
- SSB0585孔位：8米厚、金品位在0.63g/t
彻斯特山锰矿项目
彻斯特山锰矿项目距离西澳洲西南部的阿温斯索普镇10公里。该项目属于先锋公司和银河系资源有限公司（拥有25%）成立的阿温斯索普合营公司。
通过岩石取样，在彻斯特地层内已发现600米长的锰矿异常带，岩样的锰矿含量可达45%。
阿克拉合营公司项目（斯特拉塔澳洲镍矿公司拥有80%）
斯特拉塔澳洲镍矿公司目前拥有阿克拉合营公司项目的60%。今后两年中，在它完成120万澳元的勘查费用投入之后，便可拥有该项目的80%。斯特拉塔澳洲镍矿公司已将阿克拉合营公司项目的管理权移交给先锋公司。
该项目位于尔古里镇北北东60公里处，包括几处矿权地，总面积约600平方公里。
沿EMU断裂，该项目覆盖了长约140公里的超镁铁质单元，这里有高品位的块状和浸染状的硫化物镍矿化。现有的硫化物镍前景区在ACRA和Jubilee地区。
去年斯特拉塔澳洲镍矿公司在新Jubilee西部地区发现了一个完整的矿化基底接触带，钻探结果为：
- • JBDD0014孔位：0.1米厚、Ni品位在2.58%、自553.72米
这个钻探结果很重要，因为这是第一次在该项目区探到完整的硫化物镍矿化。
瑟斯忒山南部项目
瑟斯忒山南部项目位于瑙斯曼镇北北西约20公里处。先锋公司正在勘查红土化超镁铁质岩石内的钴、镍和锰矿化。先锋公司100%拥有该项目。
该项目覆盖瑟斯忒山合营公司项目（属于巴拉资源公司（澳洲上市公司代号：BAR）和斐世恩能源公司（澳洲上市公司代号：FIS））的南部延伸区。该合营项目的资源量为：2,100万吨矿石量，其镍品位0.62%、钴品位0.14%及锰品位1.01%。（斐世恩能源公司于2008年4月21日公布的资料）。
近期先锋公司的回旋式空气喷射钻探工作已发现在相同的地质背景下有钴、镍异常矿化带，结果包括：
- 6米厚、品位在1,532ppm Co、0.35% Ni、1.04% Mn
- • 3米厚、品位在4,634ppmCo、0.26% Ni、5.80% Mn
金山脊项目
先锋公司与澳洲矿山公司（澳洲上市公司代号：AUZ）合营勘探金山脊硫化物镍矿化项目。目前先锋公司和澳洲矿山公司分别拥有项目的56%和44%。该项目距离卡尔古里镇约25公里，与堪保达(Kambalda)镍矿选厂有40公里的运料路里程。
近期的勘查工作已发现里欧坝前景区，距Blair矿山3公里。空气喷射钻探的结果包括：
- GRA0253孔位：70米厚、品位在0.60% Ni, 658ppm Cu 和 344ppb Pd+Pt
- GRA0254孔位：44米厚、品位在0.70% Ni, 1095ppm Cu 和 452ppb Pd+Pt
- GRA0257孔位：73米厚、品位在0.53% Ni, 468ppm Cu 和 202ppb Pd+Pt
开发项目
Balagundi
The Balagundi Project is 100% owned by Pioneer Resources Limited and comprises a number of tenements covering up to 770km² of Archaean greenstone predominantly within the Gindalbie Terrane (Witt et el), Eastern Goldfields Province, Western Australia.
Regional mapping and geochemistry survey reports conclude that the Gindalbie Terrane contains bimodal felsic volcanics with, in parts, a flat rare earth geochemical signature. Based on the geochemistry of similar belts in the Abitibi Province, Canada, these may be fertile for VMS style mineralisation. The Gindalbie Terrane hosts the Jaguar and Teutonic Bore VMS mines located further to the north.
Pioneer’s work to date has confirmed these observations. Work has included detailed regolith and geological interpretations (MacIntyre, 2008), field mapping (Maniw, 2009), auger (Pioneer, Brand, MacIntyre, 2008) and RAB/rock chip geochemical and PIMA analysis (Maniw, 2009; MacIntyre and Hally 2008). This work was designed to generate VMS Cu-Zn targets in particular, in a geological domain recognised by the CSIRO as having potential for this style of mineralisation.
Lady of the Lake
The Lady of the Lake project is located approximately 60 km NNE of Kalgoorlie and immediately south of the Acra Joint Venture. Pioneer holds the title and 100% of all mineral rights except for gold.
The tenement is prospective for VMS style base metal and sulphide nickel mineralisation.
Rock chip sampling by previous explores has returned up to 12.5% Zinc and 1.2% copper within a felsic volcanic sequence.
Silver Swan North West Nickel and Base Metals
The Silver Swan Northwest Project is located 45 km NNE of Kalgoorlie, and is owned 100% by Pioneer. The project covers an area of approximately 442 square kilometres of tenements in addition to those the subject of the Silver Swan Northwest Joint Venture with BHP-Billiton.
Currently most effort is being directed into the Lignum Dam Gold Project on the western side of the project area. The SSNW project has exposure to three ultramafic belts prospective for nickel sulphide mineralisation as well as a similar sequence of felsic volcanic rocks as the Balagundi Project which are prospective for base metal mineralisation.

Ramelius Alliance Area
Pioneer and Ramelius Resources Limited have entered into a series of agreements which, collectively, has resulted in a large project, managed by Ramelius, that has areas prospective for nickel and gold. The project is located approximately 60km SW of Kalgoorlie.
The Project is located at the northern end of the Widgiemooltha Greenstone Belt with ultramafic units interpreted to correlate with the host units of the Mt Edwards, Widgiemooltha, Miitel and Redross Nickel Sulphide Mines. The area is also prospective for gold and tantalite mineralisation is recorded.
Ramelius is very active in the Wattle Dam District where it has a gold mining operation and an aggressive exploration program for both nickel and gold.
In an announcement by Ramelius in early June 2007, a drill hole was reported as having intercepted 32 metres at 2.0/t Gold from 12 metres depth at the centre of a 700 metre long anomalous zone within the West Larkinville JV Project.
Silver Swan Northwest (BHPB Joint Venture) Nickel sulphide
BHP Billiton may earn an 80% interest in the project by funding exploration expenditure of US$5.0M.
The joint venture covers a group of tenements immediately south of the company's 100% owned SSNW Project.
BHPB have completed RC and Diamond drillholes testing the nature of the ultramafic rocks. To date no nickel sulphides have been intersected, with the majority of the ultramafic rock intersected interpreted to be thin flow low MgO rock units.
Maggie Hays Lake Joint Venture Project (Norilsk Nickel Australia (NNA))
Pioneer has entered into a farm-out joint venture with Norilsk Nickel Australia (NNA) (formerly LionOre Australia (Nickel) Pty Ltd) to explore the Maggie Hays Lake prospect; NNA has earned an 80% interest in the project through expending $200,000. Pioneer continues to be free-carried until the commencement of mining.
Shallow Rotary Air Blast ("RAB") drilling confirmed the prosectivity of the targeted area with analyses up to 10m at 0.4% Ni, and with anomalous in Cu and PGM.
Conductors identified by NNA since the commencement of the joint venture are thought to relate to sedimentary horizons adjacent to the target ultramafic. The next phase of work will include stratigraphic drilling to locate geological targets.

Pioneer recently announced that it had sold an 80% interest in the Pioneer Project to Panoramic Resources Limited.
The project is located approximately 30 km NNW of Norseman and contains ultramafic stratigraphy that correlates with the mine sequences at Miitel, Redross and Mt Edwards Nickel Sulphide mines. Panoramic are actively exploring the surrounding ground for nickel sulphide mineralisation.
Pioneer retains a 20% free carried to decision to mine on the project.
Heazlewood and Whyte River Projects
Bass Metals has entered into a joint venture covering iron tin and tungsten with Venture Minerals Limited. Pioneer retains a 2% NSR royalty.
